Departing from Scandic Ishavshotel, the journey begins with a comfortable ride—either by bus or car, depending on group size.
With an experienced guide leading the way, you'll travel through scenic Troms county, passing towering mountains and stunning fjords, searching for the perfect spot to witness the aurora dance across the sky. Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth start.
The evening is filled with excitement, as the guide navigates the best locations for optimal northern lights sightings. The tour typically ends between 1:00-2:00 am but may extend if needed to maximize viewing opportunities. This family-friendly tour is ideal for adults and children alike. Bring warm shoes, a thick sweater or jacket, a scarf, windproof mittens, a warm hat, and woollen socks. If you’re planning to bring a good-quality camera, it is recommended to also bring a tripod.
