Experience the Arctic night on a peaceful husky sled ride through snow-covered landscapes near Kirkenes. Glide across frozen fjords and quiet forests under the winter sky, with the chance to see the northern lights dancing above.
Join an evening adventure from Kirkenes as you set out to search for the northern lights in the most authentic way — by dogsled. Your evening begins with a pickup from your hotel and a short transfer to Snow Resort Kirkenes, where your experienced dogmusher welcomes you. After changing into warm winter gear and greeting the friendly huskies, the team will take you out into the Arctic wilderness.
Two guests share each sled, while the dogmusher drives across the frozen fjord and through snow-covered forest trails. The silence of the Arctic night is broken only by the sound of the sled runners and the huskies working in rhythm. A brief stop is made to rest the dogs and enjoy the surroundings — and if the northern lights appear, there’s time to watch and take photos.
After approximately one hour of sledding, you return to the camp, where your driver will take you back to your hotel in Kirkenes.

Departure time 21:00. Duration approximately 2 hours (around 1 hour of dogsledding).
