Enjoy a two-hour guided visit to the Snow Resort Kirkenes, including transport from Kirkenes, and experience snow and ice art, reindeer, huskies and the unique suites carved in ice.
Begin the afternoon at 13:00 with pickup from your hotel in Kirkenes (typically Thon or Scandic), and drive about 15 minutes through the arctic landscapes to the Snow Resort Kirkenes grounds. Once there, a guide will escort you through the Snowhotel Park, introducing you to the huskies and puppies, as well as reindeer.
You’ll then enter the main Snow Resort Kirkenes structure, seeing the carved ice suites and theme domes, and learn how the snow/ice architecture is maintained year-round. The visit also includes access to the café area and some time to walk around the grounds. After approximately two hours (around 15:00), you’ll be transported back to your hotel in Kirkenes.
This is a good option for day visitors who wish to see the Snow Resort Kirkenes without staying overnight.
