Ride through Arctic landscapes on a 2‑hour snowmobile safari from Snow Resort Hotel. Includes winter clothing, transfers from Thon Hotel and Scandic, and a local guide.
This 2‑hour snowmobile tour begins at Snow Resort Hotel and includes hotel pickup from Thon or Scandic in Kirkenes. After a short transfer, you'll receive safety instructions and be equipped with insulated gear including a thermal suit, helmet, and boots.
Your guide will lead you into the Arctic wilderness, across frozen lakes, snowy plateaus and open tundra. With two people per snowmobile, you’ll have the option to switch drivers during the tour. No previous experience is required — the machines are easy to handle, and the pace is suitable for beginners.
Stops for photos and short breaks are included before returning to the Snow Resort Hotel base. It’s a balanced mix of nature, activity and local insight into life above the Arctic Circle.

To drive, you must be 18 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license. Children can join as passengers from age 10. The tour is available from late December through April, with daily departures at 13:00. Tours are weather dependent and may be adjusted or cancelled for safety. Solo driving is available at extra cost and must be requested in advance.
