Tromsø Fjellheisen - The Cable Car
Fjellheisen is open from 1st June! A view from the beautiful city of Tromsø and its surroundings from a whole new different level. Opening hours are Monday - Sunday 10:00-21:00
The Cable Car has been taking tourists and locals alike to the top of the mountain ledge Storsteinen for many years. In only four minutes the gondola with capacity of up to 28 passengers will travel 752 meters to the upper station situated 421m above sea level, here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the most fascinating view of the Tromsø area. The viewing platform offers majestic views of the vibrant city of Tromsø, the mountains and fjords.
Contemplate the panorama view, take pictures and enjoy the view while you go for a hike or while you enjoy a traditional meal or a warm cup of coffee at the Fjellstua restaurant.
In summer soak yourself under the beautiful Midnight Sun and in winter you might experience the most wonderful natural phenomenon, the Aurora Borealis, dancing over Tromsø City!
